Dan Kazan has helped transform and grow businesses in a wide range of industries, including financial technology, media, marketing, and information services. Before joining Insureon, Dan served as CEO and member of the board of directors of Rewards Network, a leading provider of marketing and financial services to the U.S. restaurant industry and a pioneer in payment card-linked loyalty programs. Before that, he was the CEO of Tribune Media Services (now known as Gracenote, a Nielsen company), a global leader in providing entertainment-related information services. Earlier in his career, Dan held various senior roles at Tribune Company.
Chief Operating Officer
Jeana Deninger has more than 20 years of experience growing B2B and B2C business at insurance and financial companies. She specializes in developing effective strategies across marketing, strategic partnerships, sales, and customer success. Her customer-centric approach has resulted in a leading Net Promoter Score in the insurance industry. Jeana’s role at Insureon is to oversee retail business strategy, deliver a best-in-class online and offline customer experience, and elevate company culture and people development. She joined Insureon after serving in senior leadership roles for years at CoverHound, Motif Investing, and Charles Schwab international markets.
Chief Technology Officer
Yuri Ter-Saakyants oversees technology, engineering, development, and quality assurance for Insureon. His 18 years of technology experience include a tenure as Senior VP of Development with MediaBank (now MediaOcean, owned by the team that built Groupon, InnerWorkings, and Echo Global Logistics). In that role, Yuri grew the company from its startup phase, helped it implement a technology platform to suit the needs of the marketing world, and built MediaBank's first-generation integrated digital workflow system. He joined the Insureon team in February 2012.
President, Platform Solutions
Belen Tokarski joined Insureon in 2015 after 14 years at CNA, where she drove the insurer’s small commercial automation strategy. At Insureon, she leads the company’s B2B and SaaS business. Belen combines expertise in technology and operations in developing and executing some of the company’s most critical day-to-day operations and client engagements. She previously led retail operations for the firm. Belen’s professional accomplishments have been recognized on the Top 10 Women in Insurance Leadership list published by Insurance Networking News and Insurance Business America’s list of elite women in insurance. A Certified Business Architect, she holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell College and an MBA from DePaul University.
Executive Vice President, Strategy & Business Development
Jeff Kroeger has spent more than a decade in commercial insurance working with agents and brokers to help small business owners protect their business interests. Jeff joined Insureon in 2019 from The Hartford, where he last served as head of Strategic Partners and Programs. In that role, he led a team responsible for national partners, alternative distribution, and program / affinity businesses. Prior to that, Jeff spent several years in senior leadership positions at The Hartford and CNA, specializing in small commercial insurance. At Insureon, he focuses on the firm’s long-term business strategy along with specific accountability to the B2B and SaaS businesses. Jeff is a graduate of the University of Michigan and holds the Certified Insurance Counselor designation. He lives in Chicago.
Chief Legal Officer / Senior Vice President of Business Development
Nicole Farley leads Insureon’s legal team, including carrier and partner agreements, corporate governance, and legal compliance. She is also an integral part of the firm’s business development operations where she manages B2B sales and key partner relationships. Nicole has held various positions at law firms throughout her career, including Slavin & Slavin, Merrill Corporation, and Zlimen & McGuiness. She received her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Mercyhurst University and her juris doctor at the William Mitchell College of Law.
President, Insureon Brokerage
Brandon Hickey has been in the insurance industry for 30 years, time that includes serving as regional vice president in New York City and Washington, D.C., for The Hartford Insurance Group. In 2005, he joined Northeast Agencies, a small commercial and personal lines wholesaler, as Chief Operating Officer. He joined Insureon in 2016 and brings 20 years of experience in small commercial, having held leadership positions in both underwriting and industry placement. Brandon holds a BA from Gettysburg College and an MBA from the University of Hartford, and is New York State Agent and Broker licensed.

Michael Cline is the founder and a managing partner of Accretive, a venture capital and private equity firm. In addition to co-founding Insureon, he has founded several companies, including Fandango, R1 CRM, Accolade, Everspring, and Accumen. He was previously a general partner at General Atlantic and an associate at McKinsey & Company.

Ted Devine is an Insureon co-founder and previously served as CEO. Prior to joining Insureon, Ted held senior executive positions at Aon Corporation, including president of Aon Risk Services and CEO of Aon Re, and served for 12 years as a director at McKinsey & Company.

Jim Cochran is an Insureon co-founder and member of the board. Jim played an integral role in creating affiliated brands TechInsurance and Business Insurance Now before Insureon was founded in 2011. He has led the industry in developing innovative technology that streamlines the business insurance application, underwriting, and rating processes.
Edgar Bronfman, Jr.
A board member of Insureon, Edgar Bronfman, Jr. is also a managing partner at Accretive and serves on the boards of several companies, including Accolade and Everspring. He is the former chairman and CEO of Warner Music Group.
Patricia Kemp is a co-founder and general partner at Oak HC / FT and a board member at several successful technology and fintech companies. She has nearly 20 years of experience investing in growth and early-stage venture companies, primarily in financial services technology. She previously held roles at Cendant, Hewlett-Packard, and Merrill Lynch.
In addition to being a member of Insureon’s Board of Directors, John Strong is the chairman of the board and CEO of Bankers Financial Corporation. He has held executive-level positions in the insurance industry for nearly a decade. He was previously the president and managing partner of Greensboro Radiology where he served as a practicing physician for 15 years.
